DK yarn

4mm crochet hook

Embroidery needle

Scissors

8mm safety eyes

-ABBREVIATIONS-

Magic Loop (I chain two and crochet into first loop to create ring)

CH – Chain

ST – Stitch

SC2TOG -Single cochet two together

SL ST – Slip stitch

SK ST – Skip stitch

SC – Single crochet

DC – Double crochet

JOIN and FO – SL ST into next ST, chain one, cut yarn

FO- Fasten off

T – Turn

 -CONSTRUCTION NOTES- 

Numbers written inside {} state the number of stitches at the end of round.

All instructions inside ** are to be made into same space.

Pattern is written using US Crochet terminology.

-METHOD-

Zombee - begin with green yarn.

Insert safety eyes between rows 3 and 4 of ghost, 3 stitches apart from one another.

1. CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}

2. 2SC into every ST around {12}

3. (SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {18}

4. (SC3, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {24}

5-7. SC around {24} - 3 rounds.

Change to black yarn.

   8-10. SC around {24} - 3. rounds.

Change to green yarn.

   11-13. SC around {24} - 3. rounds.

Change to black yarn.

   14-16. SC around {24} - 3. rounds.

Change to green yarn.

   17. (SC2, SC2TOG) 6 times {18}

   18.  (SC1, SC2TOG) 6 times {12}

   19. (SC2TOG) 6 times {6}

Join and FO.

Stuff Zombee.

Sew hole closed.

With black yarn sew smile onto face.

With pink yarn sew blush under each eye.

With red yarn sew 'scars' around the Zombee's body.

Wings - make 2 with white yarn.

1. CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}

2. 2SC into every ST around {12}

3-5. SC around {12} - 3 rounds

6. (SC2TOG) 6 times {6}

Join and FO.

Sew the bottom of wing closed

Sew wings onto the back of Zombee.

String - make with white yarn.

1. CH20 leaving a long starting and ending tail.

FO.

Use tails to sew chain into the top of ghost.
