· DK yarn in various colours
· 3.5mm crochet hook
· Embroidery needle and scissors
· Toy stuffing

· Magic Loop (I chain two and crochet into first loop to create ring)

Feet and Legs – make 2, start with colour of foot.

Stuff bear.
With yarn tail pick up the front loops only of the remaining 12 stitches in order, then pull tight to close.
Snout – make with chosen colour.
1. CH2, 6SC into the second CH from hook {6}
2. 2SC into each ST around {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {18}
4. (SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {24}
5-8. SC around {24}
Join and FO.
Stuff snout.
Pin and sew into place on face.
With yarn sew on nose and mouth detail.
Eyes – make 2 with white yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into the second CH from hook {6}
2. 2SC into each ST around {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {18}
Join and FO.
Pin and sew above snout.
Pupils – make 2 with blue yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into the second CH from hook {6}
Join and FO.
Pin and sew onto eyes.
Arms – make 2 begin with hand colour.
1. CH2, 5SC into the second CH from hook {5}
2. 2SC into each ST around {10}

Change to arm colour.

Join and FO.
Stuff arms.
Pin and sew into place on either side of body.
Ears – make 2 with chosen colours.
1. CH2, 7SC into the second CH from hook {7}
2. 2SC into each ST around {14}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 7 times {21}
4-8. SC around {21}
Join and FO.
Press ears flat.
Sew onto head.
Bow – make with chosen colour.
Necklace:
1. CH40, SC into the 2nd CH from hook and all other chains across, CH1, T {39}
2-3. SC across, CH1, T {39}
Join and FO.
Sew around Bear’s neck.
Bow:
1. CH24, join with a SL ST to form a loop, CH1, SC around {24}
2-5 SC around {24}
Join and FO.
Press loop together in the centre and wrap loose yarn around the centre to secure. Tie a knot in the back to secure.
Sew bow onto necklace.
