Rose Flower

These 3D roses are the perfect little piece to make with left over scrap yarn, and can be used to decorate anything from clothes to mirrors.


-MATERIALS-

·      DK yarn in colour of choice

·        5.5mm crochet hook


-ABBREVIATIONS-

·        Magic Loop (I chain two and crochet into first loop to create ring)

·        CH – Chain

·        ST – Stitch

·        SL ST – Slip stitch

·        SK ST – Skip stitch

·        SC – Single crochet

·        HDC – Half double crochet

·        DC – Double crochet

·        JOIN and FO – SL ST into next ST, chain one, cut yarn

·        FO- Fasten off

·        T – Turn



-CONSTRUCTION NOTES- 

-        Numbers written inside {} state the number of stitches at the end of round.

-        Pattern written inside () should be repeated the number of times stated.

-        Pattern written inside ** should be don’t into one stitch.

-        Pattern is written using US Crochet terminology.


-METHOD-


Rose Flower – make in colour of choice.

1.      CH31, from the 2nd CH from hook SC across, CH1, T {30}

2.      (SC1, DC5 into the next ST, SC1) repeat to end.

FO leaving a long tail to sew into place.

Rotate the flower in on its self from the 1st stitch to the last. Secure into place by sewing bottom of flower together.
