Free Pac-Man Crochet Pattern With Written and Video Instructions.
Did you know that Pac Man was originally called Puck Man? Crazy eh!
Pac Man and the ghosts can be made using any colours you like. I defiantly think these would make the perfect gift for that gamer friend you have,

-MATERIALS -
· 3.5mm and 3mm crochet hooks
· DK yarn in various colours
· Darning needle and scissors
· Toy Stuffing
-ABBREVIATIONS-
· Magic Loop (I chain two and crochet into first loop to create ring)
· CH – Chain
· ST – Stitch
· SL ST – Slip stitch
· SK ST – Skip stitch
· SC – Single crochet
· HDC – Half double crochet
· DC – Double crochet
· SC2TOG – Single crochet two together
· JOIN and FO – SL ST into next ST, chain one, cut yarn
· FO- Fasten off
· FLO – Front loops only
· BLO – Back loops only
· T – Turn

· The completed doll’s measure 2-3” tall.
Pac Man – make with yellow yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into 2nd CH from hook, CH1, T {6}
2. 2SC into every ST around, CH1, T {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {18}
4. (SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {24}
5. (SC3, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {30}
6. (SC4, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {36}
7. (SC5, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {42}
8. (SC6, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {48}
8-15. SC across, CH1, T {48}
16. (SC6, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {42}
17. (SC5, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {36}
18. (SC4, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {30}
19. (SC3, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {24}
20. (SC2, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {18}

Join and FO by SL ST into the 1st decrease of row 22 to close hole.
23. SC around the entire opening of Pac Man’s mouth.
Do not fasten off, just place aside for now.
Mouth – make with black yarn.
Note – make sure to stuff Pac Man’s head before you completely close the gap between mouth and head.
1. CH5, SC into the 2nd CH from hook and all others across, CH1, T {4}
2. 2SC into the 1st ST, SC2, 2SC into the last ST, CH1, T {6}
3. 2SC into the 1st ST, SC4, 2SC into the last ST, CH1, T {8}
4. 2SC into the 1st ST, SC6, 2SC into the last ST, CH1, T {10}
5-12. SC across, CH1, T {10}
13. SC2TOG, SC6, SC2TOG, CH1, T {8}
14. SC2TOG, SC4, SC2TOG, CH1, T {6}
15. SC2TOG, SC2, SC2TOG, CH1, T {4}
16. SC around entire piece.
Join and FO.
Pin the mouth around the opening of Pac Man and SC into place with yellow yarn still attached to Pac Man’s head. Do this by SC through consecutive stitches on both the mouth opening of Pac Man’s head and the black on the mouth inside.
You may need to do 2SC into some stitches to help with turning.
Pac Man’s Eyes – make 2 with black yarn.
1. CH2, 6SC into 2nd CH from hook {6}
2. 2SC into every ST around {12}
Join and FO.
Pin and Sew into place.
With yellow yarn sew eye detail on as per pictures.
Ghosts – make with chosen colour.
1. CH2, 6SC into 2nd CH from hook, CH1, T {6}
2. 2SC into every ST around, CH1, T {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {18}
4. (SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {24}
5. (SC3, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {30}
6. (SC4, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times, CH1, T {36}
6-15. SC around {36}
17. In BLO (SC4, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {30}
18. (SC3, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {24}
19. (SC2, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {18}
20. (SC1, SC2TOG) 6 times, CH1, T {12}
Join and FO.
Stuff ghosts.
With yarn tail close hole by picking up the front loops only of the remaining 12 stitches, then pull tight to close.
Re-join yarn in the front loops left front round 17.
21. 2SC into every ST around {72}
22. SC around {72}
Join and FO.
Ghost’s Eyes – make 2 per ghost begin with black yarn.
Note – use 3mm hook.
1. CH2, 6SC into 2nd CH from hook, CH1, T {6}
Change to white yarn.
2. 2SC into every ST around, CH1, T {12}
3. (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 3 times {15} – you will not be SC around the entire piece, just the top.
Join and FO.
Pin and sew eyes into place.
