-PATTERN NOTES-
You may change colour at any time. I would recommend always applying the new colour at the beginning of a round in a CH2 corner space.
Instead of CH3 / CH2 at the beginning of rounds, I recommend doing a ‘stacked DC’ to avoid leaving a gap.
CH3 counts as DC.
There are no SC between clusters, this is to keep the gaps tight.
Each completed bag segment measures 11” across
Block / steam bag segments before joining.
The Competed bag measures 17” across.

Join and FO.

-JOINING SEGMENTS-
You are to join the segments by holding the right side of pieces together and SC through consecutive stitches from both pieces. You may need to do 3SC at corners to help turn. I joined my segments using white yarn.
SC the parts indicated by the red arrows together, and the same for the yellow arrows.

Straps – make with colour of choice.
Find the two stitches at point of either side of the bag.
Re-join yarn in first of the two stitches.
1-65. SC2, CH1, T {2} – 65 rows.
Join and FO leaving a log tail.
Sew handle to opposite side of bag.
Re-join yarn at the side opening of bag and SC around the entire perimeter of the top of bag, including the bag straps (repeat on both sides).
Join and FO.
Tassels:
If you wish you may add tassels at the bottom of your bag. Do this by hook stitching multiple strands of 10" pieces of yarn through the bottom stitches of your bag.
Hook stitch – Insert your hook into stitch, pull the middle of a piece of yarn through about 2cm, pass the tails of the yarn through the loop you have created and pull tight.
