Crochet Pet Bandana

I LOVE these pet bandanas! apart from them being super easy to make, you can make them in any size or colour that you want. These bandanas have become my go to pet gift.
-MATERIALS-
· DK yarn in colour of choice
· 4mm crochet hook
-ABBREVIATIONS-
· CH – Chain
· ST – Stitch
· SL ST – Slip stitch
· SC – Single crochet
· DC – Double crochet
· JOIN and FO – SL ST into next ST, chain one, cut yarn
· FO- Fasten off
-CONSTRUCTION NOTES-
- Pattern written inside ** should all be made into the same stitch.
- Pattern written inside () should be repeated the number of times stated.
- Pattern is written using US Crochet terminology.
- CH3 counts as DC.
- Change colour at any time, at the start of a row.

Bandana - Make with colour of choice.
CH4, into the 4th chain from hook do *2DC, CH2, 3DC*, Turn
CH3, 2DC into same ST as CH3, *3DC, CH2, 3DC * all into CH2 space from previous row, 3DC into the very last ST of this row (top of CH3 from previous row), Turn
CH3, 2DC into same ST as CH3, 3DC into next space between 3DC clusters, *3DC, CH2, 3DC * all into CH2 space from previous row, 3DC into next space between 3DC clusters, 3DC into the very last ST of this row (top of CH3 from previous row), Turn
CH3, 2DC into same ST as CH3, (3DC into next space between 3DC clusters) repeat across until CH2 space is reached, *3DC, CH2, 3DC * all into CH2 space from previous row, (3DC into next space between 3DC clusters) repeat across all gaps, 3DC into the very last ST of this row (top of CH3 from previous row), Turn
Repeat row 4 until desired length reached.
SC around entire piece to neaten edges doing 3SC in corners to help turn.
Join and FO.
Chain
CH35, SC across the top part of the bandana only, CH36, Turn
From 2nd CH from hook SC across 35 chains, then across the top f the bandana followed by the remaining 25 chains.
FO.
Weave tails and secure.
